AGM 2017: Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development

The AGM is a unique opportunity to engage with government officials and representatives from industry, civil society and academia.The theme of this year's meeting is managing artisanal and small-scale mining (ASM). However, we will also be covering a wide range of other topics including:

- Development minerals and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Environmental Impact Assessments and mining
- Government guidance for mine closure
- Government initiatives for biodiversity management
- Voluntary sustainability initiatives
