Description

Mandat International is a non-governmental organization whose aims are to promote international dialogue and cooperation. The foundation is engaged in promoting international projects and activities, including in the domain of scientific research and use of new technologies for sustainable development. Mandat International is also promoting international law, including environmental law and law of the sea.

Activities: 

MI is engaged in promoting international cooperation activities. After having supported for many years the participation of non-governmental delegates to UN conferences, the foundation is now more actively promoting international cooperation with the research community to support sustainable development. The foundation is currently:

  • Coordinating and supporting several international scientific research projects, including on smart cities and the use of new technologies, such as the Internet of Things, to address societal needs;
  • Organizing and supporting international conferences and events;
  • Promoting accessibility to international law and information through various websites;
  • Developing capacity building projects and activities;

Promoting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

with numerous local, regional and international organizations, academic institutions and private foundations.
